Well Andy, I'd say with Hagger its sort of six of one and half-a-dozen of the other. Some of the stuff they do, for example from APH, is made with the blind in mind, and I guess that would have to include the Bookport which in many ways is similar to the Book Currier but that's been covered here before. I think though that the Bookport does have a memo taking facility if I'm not getting confused. (Its been that sort of day.) On the other hand Hagger do mainstream stuff like the Olypus and Sanyo recorders which they do not claim to be totally friendly or usable by VI people, more the best that's available in their opinion in stuff that's not made with us in mind. I guess that, in short Hagger is the specialist in sound recording gear for the visually impaired, over the last 20 years and more.
