Ari, do you mean the K-NFB Reader? It is sold in the UK by Sight and Sound Technology. Personally I get on well with mine. When I get my mail and I can't be bothered to turn the PC on to scan it, I just pick up the Reader and scan it that way. I like it because of its utter portability. When I can't move in bed with my back problems, I use the Reader a lot, and as I said before, love a newspaper to get stuck in about. It takes me quite a long time to scan one mind because they are quite large. So I settle myself at my table and spread it out like a sighted person does. Then I scan the top half and then work my way down it. There is a knack of doing that, but it is doable. It reads certain newspapers better than others, due to their typefaces and print etc, but it can be done, even if it takes a while to achieve it.

One thing it reads very well are the names and details on medicine packets. I have found it so useful for those situations when tablet packaging feels similar to others, and the Reader has really got me out of a potential difficulty if my son hasn't been in to help me.

I've written a comprehensive review of this gadget if you want me to send it to you off list.

Jackie

That's another interesting device, how do you like using it? I know a guy who imported one from the UK, and he reckons he's not happy with it, because it can't read many things, and it's apparrently a hassle to try and get anything to read properly? I haven't seen his reader yet, and there's noone selling it here, so there's no demo, but I've often thought of getting one oneday.
