NTL are now a good deal better than they once were. There was a time when breakdowns were a weekly, almost a daily, occurrence, but things are a good deal better these days. If you need to phone them, expect a long wait, and their help desk staff are not the best informed, but they do try to assist. If you have tv and telephone as well as broadband, they give you a good deal, and their speeds are as good as anyone else's. I believe you can get 10mb broadband now. So, by no means perfect, but much more reliable than they once were. Hi there, I am thinking of going the cable route, as the fastest speed for adsl is only 500KB. From looking through the list, there does not appear to be many people using NTl. I would like some feedback on NTl, and any comments greatfully received. Cheers for now Jim Denton ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq __________ NOD32 1.1381 (20060126) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
