Hi Andrew.
Perhaps its because you have tabbed out of the tree view and into the folder
window on the right hand side. I've tried it and I can't alt forward or alt
back in here like you can do in the tree view. If you shift-tab back to the
tree view you can forward and backup through the treeview using alt arrows.
I've never found a need to use the alt forward. Or alt backwards since I've
always just up and down arrowed through this tree view. I haven't yet found
any benefits you gain by using the alt keys.

Subject: [access-uk] Navigating Windows Explorer

Hi all.

I'm using Windows XP Home and when navigating through the Tree View and
Folder Views, I often cannot return to the tree view by Alt and right arrow.
Frequently, I need to do the keystroke a few times and often it refuses to
go back into the tree view. Anyone any ideas?

Best wishes.
Andy from sunny Kilcreggan
