Hi All I have tried the reader in every USB port on the PC tower and the hub all to no avail. I have tried as a straight plug-in and by turning off, plugging in and then re-booting (All ten of them) I tried to load the drivers from the disc but as I'm using XP home that will only work for Win98 therefore it ignored me. I don't think the unit is damaged but have no way of telling. Any other ideas please? Roger If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Threadgold" <m.j.threadgold@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 16, 2004 5:22 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: USB Card Readeer > A problem I have found with a usb hub is the drivers for devices seem to be > assigned to a particular port on the hub.
