Chris, I ended up being in hospital a few years back and used a laptop on the ward. For general use it was ok but they were quite cautious about net connection. I used my mobile as a modem but also, be aware of the data package you are on. I was with voda at that point and was categorically told that the way i had connected to the system was a particular price and would not be exceeded. At the end of the month they tried to charge me about £300! Haha, when i argued with them, it was their mistake so I wasn't charged but check it out first.
The usb dongle is probably the best way. Steve----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

If they let you use your Netbook, you'll probably have to use a broadband dongle. It really depends on the hospital staff looking after you. Some are better with relaxation of equipment rules than others. Good luck. I'm curious. Will I be able to use my Netbook that I will receive for Christmas? If so, do hospitals have internet access? Thank you very much. Take care.
