Barry,

It's a key lock. Though the phone can be locked by moving the slider in
either direction as well.

Did you get one at no charge off freecycle or did you mean Recycle-It?

If the former, well done you! Jammy fella! grins

Barry.

Just got an N86 today from Freecycle, and I'm pretty impressed. It's a very

similar layout to my N95, so not much to learn there. One thing that has me

a bit stumped is the small slide button on the side. What's that for, guys?

Cheers

Barry

Nokia N86 fans, help me?You've summed it up pretty well and I too wish the
Help worked.

It's worth noting that I was a bit disappointed at first, before I found a
few little tweeking settings which made all the difference to its
performance with Talks. I think the slide part of the phone is much better
than my old N95, but the N95 keys are much more easily pressed. Perhaps
this is wear and tear, I'm not sure, otherwise I love my N86.

They're still available if you hunt ... and S&S may still have some, if you
want to try that route.
