[access-uk] Office 2010 Problems

Hi Folks
Please could anyone explain the following:-
This afternoon I installed Office 2010 Home & Student Edition onto my windows
64 bit PC & I did not encounter any installation problems. All Office
programmes are running in compatibility mode & I have noticed that all the
Office updates are for the 32 bit version , how do I resolve my problem or do I
need to purchase a 64 bit version of Office 2010?.
