Magnetic tape are strips of some sort of magnetic substance. They are sticky on one side, but they will also stick to any magnetic surface even when the tape wears out. When I have used a tin, I put the label on the fridge until I need it again. You should be able to find magnetic tape at any office supply store.

Hi Chris,
It's very handy. I especially like it for labeling my tins. I bought
some
magnetic tape, and then when I am finished with the label I put it on
the
fridge until I need it. If I use it for the same thing, fine, if not, I
simply rerecord the label. I just need some help if I don't know what it
is
I need to label. Hope you find it useful.

Hello all.
I will be trialling one of these devices next week thanks to my rehab
officer from DAB (Derbyshire Association for the Blind).
Will keep you updated. I hope I like it then I will be able to
identify
foods and other items I have in the house.
