Hi Mo

There are so many options out there, even just in the Panasonic range.

I'm going to be using part of my conservatory as an office, and don't really
want to have to trail a phone extension lead all the way from the front of
the house, veering off here, there and everywhere into the conservatory.

With these types of phones, is it then possible to have the main base unit
connected to the phone line socket at the front of the house where the phone
line comes in, then have the second base unit in the conservatory
wirelessly?

Also, my other consideration would be what it felt like in the hand.
Presumably you have one of these phones, so could you give any idea of what
the shape is like.

What about the keypad, is it easy to dial on quickly?

Are the numeric buttons clearly separated from the other function buttons
that are usually on these phones?

When I've looked at these portable phones before, quite often it isn't easy
to quickly distinguish between the numeric buttons and all the other
function buttons.

Hope you don't mind the questions.

regards

Terry

Hi.

If you want a basic phone which has handsfree as well as an answering
machine and comes in a twin configuration, i'd recommend:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5527777.htm

however, if you'd like a phone without answering machine and without
handsfree, you could try:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5528972.htm

There is only £10 difference between the 2, the first one priced at £40 and
the second one at £30. May seem a little expensive for a cordless phone, but
certainly worth it as its quality kit by Panasonic. The answering machine
can also be disabled on the first one, so if handsfree is a consideration
i'd pourchase the one at £40 and just get rid of the answering machine.

Hope that helps someone.

Mo.
