[access-uk] Playing vcd cd?

Hi,
I was sent a recording, which was recorded as vcd on a cd.  I can play it on
the dvd player, but, not on the computer.  Does anyone know what I need for
this.  I am using windows xp, power dvd and jaws7.
When I insert the cd in the dvd or dvd/cdrromes, the content of the cd shows
rather than playing.
