As far as I am concerned, DAB is, and always was, a big con.  The BBC and
others led us to believe that it would be CD quality.  No such luck.  128K
at best, except for Radio 3, which I believe peaks at 192KB.  Dreadful
quality, and I certainly wouldn't miss it.  You get better bandwidth
listening to the radio on Sky.  Now FM is a different matter altogether.
When they switch that off, I will miss that dreadfully, as that is still the
best quality radio if you have a good aerial and receiver.

I just heard on the midday news on Radio4 that the group who own Clasic fm
are going to close there 2 dab only stations namely THe Jazz and Planet
Rock.  I don't listen to Planet Rock, but will greatly miss The Jazz.
