Hi Shey

I don't mind at all. I need the slides in audio for some visually impaired
people that I am training and not all of them have computers, but they all
have CD players.

The process I used to get from PPT to MP3 was:

1. Get the focus on the PPT file in Explorer.
2. Hit *file* then go down to *Convert to PDF. I believe you need Adobe
Acrobat pro for this, but I'm not sure.
3. Run Kurzweil and open the newly created PDF file.
4. Hit *File* then go down to *Utilities*.
5. Go up two selections to *Create PDF*.
6. I want a file for each page, so I leave the settings on one page. If you
want it all in one page, put in the number of pages you have in the open
document. This will become clearer when you look in the settings.
7. Kurzweil does it's work and that's it.

If you get stuck, drop me an email and I'll try to help.

Cheers

Barry

Hi Barry,
I hope you don't mind me asking, but is there a specific reason why you need
it converted into MP3? The reason I ask, is because there are some very
simple ways to read PowerPoint if you have Jaws 8 or later. Not sure about
earlier versions. I'd also be interested to find out how to convert PPT
files using K1000 because every now and then you get a really weird
PowerPoint, so it's good to know a few different ways to deal with them. At
my University our Disability services department gives courses to Profs on
how to make PowerPoints accessible, and that has helped a lot.
