Sam - Winamp is a free software programme like Windows Media Player and
Realplayer. I just need to know what's going on, when I get the error message
saying the resource is in use, when trying to copy files from my hard drive to
a CDR using cut and paste.

I will really want to know the model, model number and serial number of your
burner. I believe the name is Winamp. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I've not worked with that particular burner but can always try to see how I
can help if you furnish me with the above information.

comes to copying using cut and paste rather than burning mp3 tracks, I can
neither do it to CDs or DVDs. Not only would I like to back-up some music, but
I would also like to put lots of albums on to DVD to play on my home cinema
system, but so far, no joy!
So, should I be able to cut and paste as I thought to CD and DVD? and apart
from using Winamp to burn CDs, I have Instant CD Plus DVD, which seems not to
be very blind friendly, or at least I haven't got anywhere with it yet!

I wonder if you have what is known as a CD writer or burner.
This machine helps write files from PC to CD. The file, or files as the case
may be, are first of all stored in the CD writer(burner) before being written
unto an empty CD.
If you can intimate me further on this I sure will help as
best as I can.
