Hi Petrina.

This is a standard response when media is detected by windows. The autoplay
dialogue is asking you what program you want to use to access the media, for
example, opening in media player or open windows explorer so that you can
explore the media. If you press tab when presented with the cancel button,
you'll see the list of options.

If you don't want the autoplay dialogue to start up every time you switch
your hard drive on, go to windows explorer, select your hard drive and then
select the properties from the file menu. The second tab is the autoplay
options where you'll be able to change the defaults so that windows takes no
action when it detects your drive.

Regards.

Kevin
