Hi Vince

Ok thanks for all, I wondered how I handle the card, I'll
suss it out eventually. It appears I will have different
people with me the first week. I intend to have a good trip.

Regards

Adrien

Adrian, I'm sure most shops and banks will make sure you can
get to the chip-and-pin pad. They aren't fixed, and can be
taken off the stand - they're on a sort of telephone cable,
and could be handed to you. I often need to get shop staff
to tell me where the card slot is, and tell me which way
round or which way up to put the card. This must be all
routine to them, and I don't worry much about it. Have a
good holiday, which I'm sure you will.

Vince.
