Hi Richard,

Were the input device options that you gave in the
Recording device combo in the preferences dialog?

If so, then try setting this to either the sound
mapper or sigmatel, and then go to the input
combo box (not labelled) which comes after the input
volume slider on the toolbar in the main window (if
you start from the track table, then ctrl + f6 twice,
then tab several times). Can this be set to wave out
mix or stereo mix or something?

I'm assuming you're using windows XP. If you're using
vista, let me know, because it's quite different!!

David.

original message:

Thanks David. Have looked at my set-up, and can't
find stereo mix or wave
out mix in the input devices.

my input device options are
MME Microsoft Sound Mapper input, Sigmatel Audio,
Bluetooth audio or
Bluetooth high quality audio.
Any thoughts on where to go next?
Thanks.
