Hi, Audacity can be used to record whatever is playing on your computer, eg a stream. You need to set the input device to be stereo mix, or wave out mix, or something similar (exact name depends on the sound card). If you want to save to mp3, you'll need to download a lame mp3 endcoder. See the recording section of this guide to the latest version of audacity: http://vip.chowo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/jaws/Audacity-1.3.4-Guide.html David. original post: Hi, I want to be able to record a stream on to the hard drive. Have got Audacity and Argtronic on this laptop, but can't seem to get it to work. Anyone know if either prog will do this, and if so how? If not, what will do it please? ___________________________________________________________ Rise to the challenge for Sport Relief with Yahoo!
