Thanks for this. The options I've got in the 'change synthesiser' menu are remote access speech, Eloquence and SAPI 4 detect... When I enter on that Jaws says there are no other SAPI supported synthesizers on my system. I'm running JFW7, which option do I go to for adding SAPI5?...cheers -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chipmunks Sent: 26 May 2006 11:56 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: RealSpeak Daniel set jaws to use sapi 5 from the language/change sytnehsizer menu then go to options\\voice, global and select your preferred sapi 5 voice, in your case daniel. Cheers, Doris Remember, though, that any of the "natural voices", whether by AT&T, Scansoft, Neospeech, etc. take up a whole lot more resources than Eloquence. thus you might find jaws somewhat sluggish when switched to sapi 5. You probably want to have at least 1 gig of RAM to get anything out of those voices. I personally prefer Eloquence - or actually my beloved hardware synth - with jaws and only use sapi 5 voices for reading or recording text with something like TextRecorder. hth Doris At 09:56 AM 5/26/2006 +0100, you wrote: >Hi >I've installed the fifteen day demo of RealSpeak's Daniel but how do >I switch to it from Jaws?
