Tris,

Steve Gibson told me that you can most likely run JAWS for DOS in the SR 
environment.  I've also heard of others who have ran HAL for DOS with it.

Spinrite is file system, operating system agnostic.  All it requires is a drive 
connected via internal bus.  It is working well below the level of O/S so it is 
used as a boot CD or USB media  so not accessible with speech but makes sounds 
and you can pick options by numbers at some stages.  Details at www.grc.com.
