My understanding is that RPI differs from CPI in that it contains housing costs, which CPI does not. That means that RPI is currently higher than CPI. From memory RPI is currently just over 5%. My Google searches have found certain websites that have calculator tools, but I'm not convinced I'm getting the correct result from what I am doing, or from how they are calculating. Does anybody have the ability to make this kind of calculation, or know of a strait forward website that can do this for me?
