Hi Amro

To be honest I couldn't say what it's like. I just didn't even go there. I
don't use all the Office suite, so I wasn't going to have a fully licensed copy
of 2003 sitting in my cabinet just to buy the latest version of the same
product because it's full of bells and whistles I probably wouldn't even use.
If people like it and the need is there to have a later version, fair enough,
but it didn't justify any upgrade price for me, and rather than launch the
trial version and perhaps cause problems when I wanted to install my 2003 copy,
I just took it out and put my licensed version on instead. As I say, it's fine.

Likewise, I uninstalled Norton 360 which came with Vista, and put the latest
AVG Free Edition on, and that seems to be fine as well.

Good luck.

Jackie

Many thanks Jackie. I think I'll get myself an Office 2003 copy then. I made
a mistake ordering Office 2007 with my new system thinking that it would be
only a matter of few days of learning the new commands... The Tool Bars in Word
2007 are all over the place! Following the instruction provided by Jaws 9 help
files didn't get me anywhere... Very disappointing.

  ?Cheers,
  Amro

    Hi Amro

When I got my HP laptop in the summer, it came with Vista Home Premium, and
a 30-day trial of Office 2007. I didn't even bother launching it. I simply
took it out using the Add Remove facility, and installed Office 2003
Professional which I use. I was no way going to pay to upgrade to Office 2007,
just for the hell of being up-to-date, and I've had absolutely no problems
since doing that.

    Hope this helps.

    Jackie

      Hi all,

If I uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall Office 2003, would I be able to
use OE spell check in English again? I don't want to spend more money on Office
2003 to find that the spell check in OE still doesn't work.

      Any ideas please?

      Amro
