There are now two distinct varieties electronically differing types of SD card apart from differing form factors (normal size, and micro variants). Most if not all machines will take SD cards up to 2GB in size. After that you need to be sure that the SD card reader on your PC or the Book Courier can take SDHC SD cards that are 4GB and more. Since the SDHC is still new but becoming more widely accepted Technovision may be ablle to help supply the informaton you need about the reader in the Book Courier, you may however need to purchase a new reader unless your PC is very new or you know for fact you have an SDHC reader in it. I hope that answers the question. Regards. On my computer there are four slots for cards, all of which feel a bit different. Two are long, one thick and one thin, and two are short, again one thick and one thin. I have a Book Courier which takes Compact Flash cards, and I assume that one of these slots will take that type of card too. I am aware that the new version of Book Courier will be able to take SD cards, and that other gadgets such as the Victor Stream and Milestone can also take them. Are there different types of SD card, and which should I choose? I gather Compact Flash is going out of favour. Any expertise on this subject would be much appreciated.
