When you say fairly large documents are we talking many pages or large pages? I've been using an Epson A3 GT10000 scanner since 1999, never had a problem with it and its ideal for larger books and papers. Mind you it was £695 when I bought it and it weighs a ton.

Hi, would be grateful for any advice on this because I've not used a scannerfor years. I'm going to need one now though, and am after something that can handle print from books, press releases, and clear photo copies of fairlylarge documents. I'm planning to get K1000 and someone has told me that theEpson V100 scanner should be up to the task. If anyone has a better suggestion for a scanner or package that might be better, I'd love to hear it.thanks very much
