Pretty good Peter, and it sort of mirrors some of my reply. If there's an alt tag then the task is made doable.

| If you know the name of the graphic or know the text of its alt attribute,
| you can do the following.
| Open the sourse of the html page and copy it into Wordpad. Do a search and
| find the string of text related to the picture whither its alt text or the
| name of the picture. You might find something like:
| <p align="center"><img
| src="http://www.sightconnections.com/Peter_July2004.jpg"; width="175"
| height="275" alt="Photo of Peter Logue.">
|
| Once you've located this line, copy only the text of that line beginning
| from, http, and end at jpg.
| For instance:
| http//www.sightconnections.com/Peter_July2004.jpg
| Copy that into the address bar of IE. What you will get now is Internet
| Explorer with nothing on the page but that picture. You can now save that
| picture.
|
| Hope this has at least led you in the right direction.
|
