Hi Joe.

Freeserve were charging me £17.00 a month for 750 mb. A month or so ago, I upgraded to £22.00 a month for 2 gb. Unfortunately, my local exchange, so I'm told, has wiring that cannot take that amount, so I've paid extra for nothing. I believe with Freeserve that I need to stay with them for 12 months, so there is little I can do at present. Wouldn't it be nice to get the full Sky packages, 2 gb of Broadband and free telephone calls for a monthly cost of say £50.00, or cheaper. Perhaps that day will come. Best wishes. Andy

Hi Toni.

£25 a month is not too bad, but I'm already paying £22 a month for my broadband service and I'm unemployed. However, it is driving me mad not being able to record something that I'm not currently watching, so perhaps, I'll cut back on the beer a little. Thanks for the information. Best wishes. Andy

Hi Andy

Sky + is generally £10 per month over and above your normal Sky subscription, unless you have some of the premium channels like Movies or Sport, with these it comes free. Remember you may also find that you have to pay extra for your initial purchase of your Sky+ box.

Hi all.

I'm currently paying £15.00 a month for a basic Sky package, which includes all free to air, National Geographic, Discovery and the Sci-Fi channel. I love it and in particular, I enjoy watching the Audio Described programmes. However, I am unable to watch one channel while recording another, which is a real pain as you can imagine. I'm thinking of Sky Plus, but cannot really find out much about it on the Sky site. Can anyone please advise me of the additional monthly costs involved and whither or not I can resolve the recording issue mentioned above. Finally, does anyone know of a list for Sky? Or a way of obtaining a listing of all audio described programmes for the whole week or day. Thanks. Best wishes. Andy.
