I'd go for the ipod shuffle especially as it has come down in price over the last 6 months or so and is more competatively priced than similar capacity players. Ideal for book listening at home and on occasional trips of a few days. Not suited to keeping large archives of music for constant availability when out and about. =20 Personally I find the jaws scripts for itunes acceptible and anapod a bit of a fiddle in that it doesn't support all formats of audible file and I experienced some problems with it not recognising when I added new content. It can also be less efficient at book marking so that you can restart listening where you left off although there are works around for this they require you editing the properties of each file before loading on to the shuffle. There is always the IPod shuffle, which is accessible since it has no screen, but you would need to buy either the ITunes accessible Interface for JAWS - which is more trouble than it's worth, or Anopod Explorer to be able to transfer your content to it,since you can't do it using Audible Manager. I use a Book Courier and would recommend you save up for one, it is one of the best mp3 and audible players around and can also play Daisy talking books.
