Quite a lot of the software bundled with Creative stuf for sound is
notoriously inaccessible, this has been pointed out to them quite often and
they just ignore it not even confirming they have received your mail and
giving it consideration.
It's a great shame as their products are excellent and the features very
good.
Can't even calibrate my surround speakers system independently with my
audigy.
Frustrating or what!...
Cheers now,
Marie

Subject: [access-uk] Sound blaster live - external help
hi
i have just bought a sound blaster live external USB sound device. It came
with a remote control and lots of interesting software. it would appear you
can use the remote control to control music playback on your computer, and
also use other functions such as computer system shut down, cd eject and i
am sure many more. when using the remote control an on screen interface
starts up through which you need to navigate, navigation can be done with th
keyboard, however, it is not JAWS friendly. also the other bundled software
is not JAWS friendly.
has anyone else had experience with this sound device? or know of any other
more friendly software which could be used with it? any suggestions? or is
it the case that these "nice" features have been designed without the
consideration of speech access users?
Apart from all these apparently nice features, the sound device works well,
sounds good and was very easy to install.
thanks.
