You're right, Ron. But microsoft has decided to make OE spell checker
redundant when you install Office 2007. I'm about to try Spell Check Anywhere
from

  http://www.spellcheckanywhere.com/download/download.asp

Any advice on a good and accessible third party spell application for OE is
welcomed.

  Cheers,
  Amro

Not sure if this will help, but there is a spell page under tools/options.
There is a spell page where you can change language in a combo box.

    Hi people,

How can I change the spell check language in OE please? OE is using French,
and doesn't seem to have English installed. I use Office 2007 and Word spell
check in UK English alright. XP is the operating system I'm using.

    TIA,

    Amro
