I don't know the unit at all.
If it is possible for you to physically remove the battery, then it can be
identified and replaced.
Obviously, if it is a standard one, buy one from Maplin or whomever, if a
non-standard one, then there is a company in Staffordshire who rebuild
certain types - strike a light:

Hi all,
Eight years ago we bought our first Color Test, so at that time by Frank
Ellis and Dieter Gretchen (probably incorrect spelling of the latter).
Sadly, its battery has reached the stage where it will no longer charge.
I'm wondering if anyone out there has taken that particular model of the
Color Test to try to have a battery replacement and, if so, whether you

successful in getting it done.
