personally, I would have thought that the sound bar would use something like an optical input, or if it did use an hdmi input, it would also have a throughput one also for the tv, as just about every bit of gear with an hdmi output, only has one, so it wouldn't make much sense to make a sound bar with an hdmi input, but no hdmi through for the tv. I have two HDMI sockets on my tv which are both in use. I have purchased a tv sound bar to improve the tv sound, and I think it needs an HDMI connection. Is there some kind of adaptor or cable which will allow me to use one HDMI socket to work with two pieces of equipment? If not, is there another solution? Any help would be appreciated.
