Hey Mo,

By all means, let David havef it if he wants to use it, but I could do with one of these as our current sound for TV will go one day. (It's already 10 years old and is a set of two Goodman speakers. They now certainly havfe to be wedged because the hole in the mains socket has worn somewhat in one speaker.

Anyway, if David has it then that's just great. If not, please speak to me if you want it to go.

Oh, to keep this thoroughly on topic, I'd need to use two sound bars, somehow, filtering the second into our kitchen, as we currently are able to do because the speakers are wireless, so the first, plugged into the TV headphone jack sends on to the kitchen speaker, which is quite near. I doubt that we can purchase more of these and a sound bar is something I've been promising myself for a while.

If anyone has any idea how we can rig up our particular system, based on the above, I'd love to hear it.

Hello David.

Yes, there is a box you can buy that switches the HDMI connection. you plug 2 devices in to it and then the third connector in to your TV, and when you press the button on the box it switches the HDMI connection between devices for you. i bought one ages ago but never used it, its brand new still boxed. Email me off list and perhaps we can come to an agreement?

cheers,

Hi

Can anyone help? I have two HDMI sockets on my tv which are both in use. I have purchased a tv sound bar to improve the tv sound, and I think it needs an HDMI connection. Is there some kind of adaptor or cable which will allow me to use one HDMI socket to work with two pieces of equipment? If not, is
there another solution?

Any help would be appreciated.

David
