Hi Karl,

Using Jaws 10 (latest version) and IE 6 I get similar results to what you experience with that Google page. However, using Jaws 7 or Jaws 9 and IE 6 I can tap around without a problem. Sorry that might not help much but...

That's why I still use Jaws 7 although I have licence to use Jaws 9. I didn't renew my SMA agreement prior to the Jaws 10 release either and I'm not investing any more money in Jaws until FS get it right. Sorry FS.

Cheers,
Amro

Subject: [access-uk] Tabbing through links no longer works

Hi,

I've recently upgraded to Jaws 10 and IE8 and no longer seem to be able to
consistently tab through links on certain webpages. I had this problem with
IE7 as this is what prompted me into updating that.
An example of one that I have trouble with is the following from google:

http://www.google.co.uk/ig?hl=en

When I go to the top of the page and try tabbing down through the links I
seem to stop on the one labelled "more black down pointing triangle link".
I then simply repeat that link ad infinitum.

Now, if I try the following page from the BBC:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/radio

I have no problems tabbing down through the links.

Any thoughts on what is causing this problem most welcome.

Thanks,
Karl
