Is there any way that you could send it to me off list?

Go to the TFL site and register to get access to APIs.

It's a .kml file (actually XML) which contains entries for every
station, but no data about which line each station is on and no
timetable data of course.

Where and how did you manage to get the .xml file?

Jackie and Edward,

I grabbed the XML data file from the TLF site and this gave me a list of
the stations.  I have used each of the line pages from Wikipaedia in
conjunction with my memories of the network as well.

I thought about Terry's site last night and that might help me with
stuff like whether the Bakerloo line platforms at Waterloo are below the
Northern line platforms etc, physical stuff.

Is there anything at the TfL Open Data site:

https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/open-data-users/

They say they have static xml data, maybe there's a representation of
the map.

Mike Ray writes:

Hello Ed.  That's one great little nugget of info.  I'm trying to write
an accessible exploration game that involves the whole of the London
tube network.  Directions from stations need to be described in terms of
how they look on the tube map and I can't remember all of it despite
having worked in London for years when I could see.

The only line I can remember in detail is the Northern Line.

Hi Mike,

I can't help with a source for a tactile tube map, but the west bound
Jubilee Line becomes north bound at Green Park.

Cheers,

Ed

0was Does anybody do a tactile version of the classic map of the London

0was I am most interested in the actual physical layout of the map,
although
0was it doesn't bear much resemblance to the true geographical twists and
0was turns of the lines.  For example, at which station does the
west-bound
0was jubilee line switch from horizontal to diagonally up towards the
north-west.
