Hello Ed. That's one great little nugget of info. I'm trying to write
an accessible exploration game that involves the whole of the London
tube network. Directions from stations need to be described in terms of
how they look on the tube map and I can't remember all of it despite
having worked in London for years when I could see.
The only line I can remember in detail is the Northern Line.

it doesn't bear much resemblance to the true geographical twists and
turns of the lines. For example, at which station does the west-bound
