Probably not as interesting as you think actually. If you are recording outdoor musical events you may be able to use a small gnerator if there is other gear that uses mains, a power invertor to run off a car battery, otherwise you are back to dry cells and a little inventive wiring. If you are mainly recording indoors then it would be worth doing a bit of reconissance before you set up to find out where if any there may be a power socket you could hook a long extension up to. Sorry, it's just plain practical stuff no miracle solutions. Regards.
