Hi Ray - I've now downloaded and installed RealPlayer, and the download
speed was a rapid [joke joke] 42 KBPS! Obviously better than yesterday, but
still not up to speed; mind you, I'm like that some days myself <smile> -

| What I meant really Andy was downloading almost anything which you
| don't have to keep, maybe a Podcast, for example?
|
| That way you'd find out what speed your getting doing that and could
| make comparisons.

| Hi Ray -
|
| Web access speeds seem to be fine. I haven't downloaded any software
| etc
| from anywhere else yet, still struggling with Realplayer; I'd rather
| not
| have it, but it's required for using the BBC IPlayer, unfortunately! -

|| Don't know how useful it is to mention this Andy, but what are your
|| download speeds like on other sites? If they are very slow, or
|| equally as slow, then, yes, maybe it is a network setup issue. If
|| not, then a temporary problem with that site.
||
|| Just possible too your ISP is having a bad day.

||| If you use the Jaws cursor you should find a piece of text close to
||| the top of the screen stating something like Explorer has blocked
|| the
