Should someone paste text in to an email say from a website for example will that show if rremote content is blocked?

I do from time to time need to paste such but not usually to this list.

BTW was using win 7 with Jaws 14 and IE 11 whilst downloading successfully the Flash programme you gave out here Tony Sweeney

Hello tony.

Remote content refers to when someone sends you images pasted in to a message. By default, thunderbird blocks them just in case they are harmful. If you need to display them, for a sighted user perhaps, if you tab there is a show remote content button which you can click. This also gives you the option to permanently allow images to be displayed from a certain sender. This is not the same as email attachments by the way, this is when someone directly pastes an image in to a message for your perusal.

All the best,

Mo.

Why does Thunderbirde say something like "Blocking remote content" and
    what does that mean?
    TIA,
