Hi Hussein. The battery may have lost some charge during the period of non usage, so it would be advisable to fully recharge, then discharge the battery for a couple of cycles to get the maximum life from the pack. Lithium Ion batteries don't suffer from any memory affect issues, however if left unused for a long period of time will eventually discharge themselves and will need warming up to regain their maximum efficiency.
All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "Hussein Patwa" <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi, I was wondering if anyone familiar with this knew if there were any tips I should follow when using my laptop again after it's been left unused forsome considerable time? I mean, apart from the OS updates being out of date and antivirus needing updating, is there anything that could potentially gowrong? Now that I no longer have the need to travel about as much the laptop's justbeen sitting in my bag for about a month. I removed the battery and have stored it separately. I don't envisage needing to use the machine again until June, when it'll have heavy use for about a month. Just wondering if there's anything I should be aware of? the laptop runs Windows 7 32-Bit. Thanks. _______________________________________ Have a pleasant day, Kind Regards and Best Wishes, Hussein.
