Hi Hussain. You don't happen to have the mailing list address for MS4 do you? I'll think I'll join since I am considdering purchasing this screen reader for my new phone. How much can I expect to pay for MS4 as someone did quote me a price but I wasn't sure if that person was from the US or UK.

Hi Saqib,

Yes, they do. they used to bring out betas on a regular schedule. Like I
said I'm not sure if that has lapsed, or whether it's the mail on my end.
It was quite a good way of testing specific features of the program, if
you were prepared to put up with some bugs as is the very nature of beta
testing. They had a strong testing panel, and had good communication
between the developers and testers via a mailing list.

Drop me a line off list if you like and I can send you more particulars as
I'll be sorting out my own membership as well.

Best,

H.

hi Hussain. I'm not on that program. Do they let you test their up and
coming products?

Hi Saqib,

Are you on the Mobilespeak beta program? I am/used to be on it, but
it's
been earily quiet of late, or it could just be my membership has lapsed
-
I've had a busy year just past and not much time for testing. I was
thinking of getting back into it soon.

Hi. Does any Talks dealer know if a version of Talks is going to be
released for the Nokia touch screen phones. I have tried the current
version on the N97 mini and found that the phone is accessible to the
point of reading and writing text messages and navigating the menus
along
with accessing calender and contacts. I only need to look at the screen
if
I am writing a text message with the on screen number display and to
select key one and two. The web can be read by Talks but when I select
a
link I get taken to a different page entirely. Now this is all
acceptible
to me given the fact that Talks doesn't officially support touch screen
devices and my question really was that how long are we expected to
wait
for a release that would support touch screen phones from Nokia. I hate
the way Nuance leave us in the dark about future developments and
Codefactory are already discussing their next release of Mobile Speak 4
which is to be released in the new year. If there is no official news
by
the time MS4 is released then I will just by MS4.
