Hi Mike.

Try a hard reset on the Trekker, do the following which should hopefully
resolve this problem. If the Trekker is dieing immediately you unplug it from
the mains, you will need to contact either your place of purchase or Humanware
to get it serviced.
To perform the special reset, follow these steps:

• Ensure that an SD card is inserted into the unit.
• Plug the power adapter/charger into the Breeze, to ensure that the Breeze is
running off of mains power.
• Turn the Breeze on.
• Press and hold down the Reset button, the Information button, and the Go To
button. Keep all three keys held down for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, release
the Reset button, but keep the Information button and the Go To button held
down.
• Keep these two buttons held down for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, release
the Information and Go To buttons.
• Wait for 2 seconds, then press and release the Reset button.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [access-uk] Trekker Breeze Problem

Hello,

I have a Trekker Breeze that is saying "battery removed" when I switch
it on and it will only work with the charger plugged in.

Does anybody have any experience of this? Is there a factory reset that
anybody knows about?

Mike
