I will most likely upgrade because I just love tech, so when I do I will let you all know my findings. but I don't use my breeze I use blind square with my phone.

Hi Janet

I have a mate who works for Guide Dogs here in Northern Ireland, and he lent me
his device for a while. I liked it apart from the time it took to get a
signal, this particular model was appallingly slow. I would like to see the
new version to see how it performs.

Kind regards,

Hi Jackie

If you decide to go for the upgrade of the trekker breeze you are getting a
whole new unit as you have to send your old one back. I spoke to them this
afternoon and they say the signal should be picked up a lot quicker and when
landmarks are told you are a lot nearer than you used to be.

Hi Carol

I received a promo Email from HumanWare today stating the new features of
the Breeze6. I think the time for a signal fix is much quicker as the
hardware inside it has been updated. I think the maps have been updated
too. While I know it is bigger than a phone, I still find the Breeze to be
easier to use in a pocket. A mate of mine let me borrow his for some time,
but it had a terrible problem with finding a signal.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Brown

Is there anything new with this update, besides the accuracy? I'm not a
Breeze user, so only know its basics, but we may be interested.

Hi. The new Trekker plus is out now! It is much more accurate but still
looks like a brick phone from the 90s which is a turn off for me.

Hi,

Sounds like there's no power to the battery. Is this possible?

Hello,

I have a Trekker Breeze that is saying "battery removed" when I switch
it on and it will only work with the charger plugged in.

Does anybody have any experience of this? Is there a factory reset that
anybody knows about?

Mike
