Hello Peter,

The model you sent the link to has hinges that allow the screen to be
rotated further than a normal laptop meaning that you can have screen facing
you and supported by the keyboard base.  Is this configuration it designed
to be a touchscreen essentially.  I am sure you would still be able to use a
USB connected keyboard and/or mouse though.

Some other 2-in-1 devices have a completely detachable screen which becomes
a tablet when detached.

If you don't need something to be portable I would consider an all-in-one PC
which has are not much bigger than a monitor as all the components are
installed into the back of the screen.  They are not always that easy for
upgrading but save a lot of space over a traditional PC.

Hope the above helps.

Kind regards,

Stewart.

Hello

Have been looking at the Dell outlet site for re-furbished computers. They
have a two in one model which I was told means that it can be used as a
laptop or tablet. The assistant tried to explain to me over the phone what
that means in practical terms but I couldn't follow. CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN how
that will impact upon its use as a blind person.

I have tried to copy the link but it is rather long.
