Roger,

If you have already had to install drivers for this, they're probably there
and the card was recognized when you put it in.

Just try putting a card into the reader.  If you hear a "friendly noise"
when it's pushed in, you'll know it's working.  Even if you don't hear the
sound, it may be, so try the drive.  The drive may well show automatically
but occasionally doesn't so you have to go looking in "My Computer".
