Hi Kevin

I agree with you. It took me 5 emails approximately over 4 weeks to the
same guy but had no real response and finally gave up. He responded to the
second or third email saying i need to visit my local vodafone retail store.

I took it to the store and my phone went to vodafone for about 2 weeks and
returned without Talks and they said that my phone wasn't compatible with
Talks. I knew for a fact it was compatible but they didn't want to know. I
finally went to Steve Nutt at Computer Room Services and purchased Talks and
put it on myself. It was fine with no compatibility issues - the phone was
Nokia 6260.

I asked Mike to ring me and I didn't get any response apart from the one
email back after my 5. I contacted him after listening to the In Touch
program but it was really a waste of time even though what he had said on
the pprogram a month earlier.

Regards

Bal

nor mine! in the end i gave up, and sorted my own phone and talks out
myself. if i'd waited for vodafone to sort it out, i'd still be waiting now!
as for the guy mike duxbury was it? who was on in-touch, saying if you have
any problems, contact me direct i'll sort it! don't bother! 7 emails and
several attempts at ringing him and i might as well have saved myself the
money and effort.
one thing i've learned if your buying access technology, buy it from those
who understand it! it might cost you more, but at least you'll get it!
