Hi there.

Just got my Victor Stream thru the post and want to add some text files
to it.

When I connect the player to my PC, it slows my windows explorer down
horrendously. So navigating to the Mobile Device folder has taken me
about 5 or 10 minutes.

Once in the folder, I noted that there were no $VR labelled sub-folders.

So I took the lead out and put it back in again.

This time two folders showed up: the Notes Folder and one for audio
bookmarks.

I waited a while to see if any further sub folders might appear but they
didn't. Took the lead out, put it back in again, still only the 2
folders. I need the $text folder to appear and the $talking book folder
so I can put some content on it.

Is this a common experience? If so it's absolutely dreadful. The point
of this machine is for you to use it in conjunction with your PC easily
and speedily.

I'm guessing that buying an SD card reader really might be the only way
forward is that what everyone is finding?

Are we expecting a fix for this in the next firmware update?

Really very bad. Good machine, nice idea, great sound, love the
recording (though buggy), like the speech synth but this takes the
biscuit.

Any thoughts appreciated

...Damon
