Hi Vista puts downloaded software in the downloads folder. That would be in your user folder. For example I would press start and arrow down to welcome Centre and arrow right and click on my name. You will find other folders such as video documents

Subject: [access-uk] Vista and downloading

Hi all -

Anybody tell me where Vista puts downloaded software from the internet? In
XP, there is a 'save in' box, but the choices in Vista seem to be to run or
cancel a download; it appears that run is the same as save, but it doesn't
seem to offer a choice of where to save. From what I have seen so far, it
chooses to save in the temporary folder, and I can't even find that under
Vista!

Help please <smile> -

Andy
