Hi Steve. As I said, I am beginning to have serious concerns about the quality of staff employed by the disability team at t-mobile. I can only say I will keep chasing them and let people here know about how things go. I do travel around quite a bit though and want to find the best contract provider at the moment. I am having problems loging into the orange site with a pay as you go phone I have. Can't get the web site to let me log in. I will send a different message shortly about this, though they seem to have some good deals at the moment. I won't touch vodaphone as I find there coverage is remarkably inconsistent throughout the country. I also don't want to know about 3 as they have been slammed throughout the press for having poor phones,coverage and service. I believe that if a 3 call drops, the user is routed to the o2 network but this is at an extra price. T-mobile coverage is not great but at least the people on the other end of the phone can speak english to a reasonable degree. O2 has some good accessible online billing facilities but O2 has had some problems with billing and while I must admit I dealt with Carphone Warehouse as o2 agents, they were a cross between delboy and Ali Gee and I found them poor at keeping promises so the choice may come down to issues of accessibility of web based services, coverage and the best deal. It does seem to me that these companies are interested more in things like TV on a mobile rather than ensuring that the basic core of the system works well, that services are reliable and that staff are well trained. It seems to me a case of choosing the best of a poor bunch. I hope someone else here has had more positive experiences. I am challenging them about their attitude to talks, but it doesn't help much when the manufacturer is allowing itself to get behind on the technology it supports. Nuance is a big company and there is little excuse for the fact that all the phones it works with are now virtually discontinued with the possible exception of the Nokia N70 and Nokia 9300.
