I always used to buy Zannussi machines but not any more. Since they merged with Electrolux they've gone down. The last machine of theirs I bought lasted less than two years.
All the best

Hi Sandra

Glad to know yours is still going strong but, after 17 years of use, you
would hardly mind if it went on the blink? My poor experiences were both
with Electrolux and, as it happened, both seemed to have the same problem,
the element in the dryer. The engineer told me on each occasion with the
two machines that they were notorious for breaking down, and that it was
normally the heating element that went. They were both very similar
machines, and not wildly accessible either. I could only use one programme
on each as the dials were fixed, so I used a bit of Braille dymo to mark
where appropriate.

Kind Regards,

Hi Jacky,
I was surprised to read your no no no to a washer drier combination. I've
had a Zenuci washer drier which is now, wait for it, seventeen years old ! !

The engineers have only visited once to fix the lock on the door! I'll be
replacing it soon and I won't hesitate to get another Zenuci combination. Don't know how Audrey would find them for accessibility; I marked mine
myself with clear dots from the RNIB for the programs I use most and it's
worked for me. In the end, though, I suppose it all comes down to
individual experiences and luckily, mine has been a good one. Maybe the
thing will break down now that I've been singing its praises. I'll just
have to keep everything crossed that it goes on for another few months at
least.

Cheers,
Sandra.
