[access-uk] Re: Wayfinder quick question

search for the root between Copplestone Drive in Exeter and the Great
Western hotel in exeter. As a pedestrian you are advised to use Bonhey
(could be Bonhay, can't remember spelling) road. You would not walk that
way certainly though I suppose you would walk across a car park so maybe
that is why.

More important though is the restaurants thing. A search for restaurants in
white chapel produced a list of restaurants throughout the whole of london,
not in order of nearest first.

Someone here also said that the version 6 software is not compatible with
TALKS. I don't know if this is true, but I do not feel very happy about
buying a product and having to go back a version from day 1.

Maybe this is not the case and, if I am doing something wrong or assuming
something that isn't true I am of course happy to be corrected.

Cheers

Graham

Hi Graham,
Can you please tell me in what way Wayfinder treated you as a car driver.
I believe the main differences between the pedestrian, car and taxi modes
are that a pedestrian can go the 'wrong' way in a one way road and a taxi
can use a bus lane. I don't believe that any maps used by GPS systems know
about footpaths etc. If anyone knows differently I would be pleased to hear
about them.

Regards
Philip
